You’ve heard us say this many times before, and we’ll say it again—and again and again—that we’re really good at parties. And summer opening parties have a specific kind of magic: think a sunny summertime hang on the rooftop while dancing to a DJ set, cocktail or other tasty bev in hand, and gabbing about the new art on view in the company of the friends you brought or new friends you’re sure to meet that night.
"The three internationally renowned artists whose work will be on view this summer at MCA Denver explore how our relationship with the environment affects our bodies, our politics, our capacity to heal, our relationships with other species, and our projected future here on Earth and beyond,” said Miranda Lash, MCA Denver’s Ellen Bruss Senior Curator. ”If we imagine the Fries building as its own biosphere, our exhibitions range in scope from addressing our relationship to the heavens, to the needs of our bodies and spirits, to our relationship with other animals and the landscape around us."
