ABOUT THE ARTIST

Katy Batsel is a queer fiber artist and educator living in Denver, Colorado. She is originally from Georgia, and has a degree in Sociology and Women's Studies from the University of Georgia. Her work explores the creation of new worlds and possibilities through a radical imagination. Her practice focuses around craft and DIY as cathartic actions, both in subject matter depicted in art and in the actual process of creating the works.

ABOUT THE COMEDIAN

Hannah Jones is a Denver-based standup comedian, improviser, and writer. After being homeschooled in a fundamentalist co-op, her off-beat and edgy political takes are as sharp as they are deeply uncomfortable for her mother to hear. You can find her hosting the bi-monthly show Uncorked or listen to her podcast, Chad and the Pink Haired Communist

MCA Denver rooftop cafe and bar.
