The Wizard’s Chest is 16,000 square feet of whimsical, colorful escape from the drab bleakness of daily shopping drudgery. The rear of the upper level of the castle is devoted to our costume, make-up, and accessory departments. There are hundreds of complete costumes for customers for sale, as well as hats, wigs, and masks to help complete your look. The lower realms of The Castle are where you will find all types of wonders! A hands-on play environment is encouraged throughout the whole store, and it is a rare day if you do not find someone learning a new game with a staff member.
Because community is important to us, and because we love to make new friends, The Wizard's Chest hosts a number of open-play events and clubs. You'll find weekly groups for Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, miniature games, and role-playing games here at the shop. Over the decades, The Wizard’s Chest and its customers have grown up together, and new generations of parents have spread the joy of “stopping by The Chest” to their children. For over thirty-five years, the store has been graced with laughter and joy. The success of The Wizard’s Chest is the result of the willingness of the owners, management, and staff to constantly strive to provide the best service and products for our customers…sprinkled with just a bit of fairy dust!
