Your favorite off-beat lecture series is back this summer! This year Mixed Taste, presented in collaboration with Denver Center for the Performing Arts Off-Center, will be at MCA Denver’s new performance and programming space, the Holiday Theater!

On July 27, join us for Teacher Burnout and Trash Art featuring Alejandro Fuentes and Benjamin Von Wong, with poet Brenton Zola.

Mixed Taste is a long-running, beloved series where even the most mismatched subjects find unexpected common ground in an interactive lecture series that can go pretty much anywhere. Two speakers get twenty minutes each to enlighten participants on unrelated topics, without making any connections to the other. It is only as participants begin to ask questions that these talented, sometimes hilarious, occasionally wild speakers start to take our highly engaged audience on an adventure of words with twists and turns that eventually bring the two subjects together in extraordinary ways.

Discover something new, be wildly entertained, and shake up your weekday routine with one (or all) of these tag-team talks where anything goes. Buckle up, things are going to get weird!

If attending virtually is easier for you, don’t worry we have the hook up. Click here to buy the digital season pass for access to attend all Mixed Taste events virtually.
