Inspired by Suki Seokyeong Kang’s exhibition Mountain-Hour-Face, this custom tea blend reflects the artist’s exploration of individual action woven into a collective consciousness. Just as Kang’s work invites presence and harmony, this tea brings together thoughtfully chosen ingredients, each with its own distinct properties, yet blending seamlessly into a moment of balance.

The Korean green tea serves as a grounding foundation, delicate yet complex. Spearmint adds a refreshing clarity, while ginger offers warmth and depth. Goji berries, rich in history and vitality, provide a gentle sweetness that ties the elements together. Each sip is an invitation to be present—where individual energies meet, reconcile, and harmonize, just as Kang’s art connects with its viewer.

Hearth and Seoul Herbal Shop is a neighborhood herb and tea shop that aims to be accessible and sustainable to the surrounding community. One of the important parts of the journey to opening this shop was reaching back to owner Christine's roots in South Korea where the love of nature, plants, and healing was passed down from her grandmother and her mother. She aims to share and connect traditional herbs, skincare, and foods with the community and share in the culture of others.
