Jean-Michel Basquiat began his career as a graffiti artist on the Lower East Side of New York City in the late 1970’s. His Neo-Expressionist and primitivistic style focused on suggestive dichotomies and political issues. His work caught the attention of Andy Warhol and the two artists collaborated on a myriad of projects that left an indelible mark in the world of Modern Art.

Ligne Blanche Paris creators of fine tableware has worked closely with the Jean-Michel Basquiat Foundation to create this scented candle collection. Givaudan, the world-renown producer of fine fragrances created the scents honoring the acclaimed artist. Each candle in housed in a yellow box featuring Basquiat’s crown motif.
