Each Bizu piece is handmade and has a life of its own, mimicking intricate forms and colors often found in creatures such as sea slugs or colorful flowers, or full ecosystems like rainforests and gardens. These wearable pals help show off the whimsical, complicated, and indescribable parts of ourselves by helping us understand that we are full reflections of the natural ecosystems that surround us. 

Denver, CO -> Los Angeles, CA. Bizu was created in the Spring of 2021 by Mihana Johnston who was born and raised in Honolulu, HI and now lives in Los Angeles, CA. Bizu’s inspiration stems from Mihana’s deep curiosity and journey of expressing our inner and outer worlds. Bizu combines childlike fantasy with the effortless whimsy of natural ecosystems through non-traditional forms of jewelry.
